North Windsor Baptist

A Message from Our Pastor

Hello and Welcome to the web pages of the North Windsor Baptist Church. We extend greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In the King James Version of the Holy Bible, Psalm 122: 1 says, "I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the House of the Lord." Well, all of us here at North Windsor Baptist Church are glad that you are checking us out here on the Web. We are a small country church with 60 - 80 people attending our Morning Worship Service and roughly 30 people of all ages attending our Sunday School. We are surrounded by the numerous wonders of God's creation off of a steep ridge incline out in the woods of Windsor, Me. Our fellowship dates back to 1820, but our programming is right in today's family. We have Sunday School for all ages (all year round as well, we don't take the summer off!), two youth groups, Bible study, prayer and worship time out of the Baptist tradition. We do have a church band, Conversion, which leads us in a praise and worship style of service once a month. We are affiliated and active in the American Baptist Churches of Maine.

Our fellowship is like a piece of candy with a crème filling. Hard on the outside but soft and sweet underneath. When I say hard on the outside, I mean that we don't hesitate to tackle some of the tough questions of life and the hard answers that may entail. Our sermons and service are based on what the word of God says and how the Bible applies to our lives. Yet we bear that service out in the overwhelming tenderness and joy of Christ's great love and forgiveness for our lives. We pray that every event and worship experience in our fellowship is a time of enrichment and empowerment that can bring us closer to a better understanding of our risen Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

We would be glad to have you come and join us in our worship experiences along with all the activities which we will keep updated on our web site. We also would be glad to help you in any way that we could. Maybe a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to when the going gets tough. In whatever way we can, we are here to be of service to you. Thanks again for visiting us and we pray that you will have a great day from here on.

Sincerely in Christ's love,
Pastor Dave
