Betty Hoover enjoys her "active retiree" status, claiming that it enables her to stay involved in the ministry while still giving her time to enjoy her faithful shetland sheepdog companion, Zippy.

Before being retired, Betty served as local director in Northern Maine for many years before becoming the Southern Maine director, in which capacity she served for six (6) years before retiring.

Betty is currently involved in a variety of ministries, which include 5-Day Clubs, teacher training and camp work. She has also been filling in as assistant interim director of the Northern Maine Chapter of C.E.F.® until we have a director in place there.

	What an incredible blessing the Lord granted us this evening! We gathered to hear Betty Hoover preach on Mark 2, and then sat spellbound as we watched her create a chalk art painting. It was breathtaking and moving to see her finished creation! Thank you, Betty!
